It’s rather fun to see the amount of buzz around the topic of the “Internet of Things”. If you are attending the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week, you will probably notice the increased amount of “Smart” – every day – devices. The trend is moving forward for Internet connected devices. The last time you walked through your local home improvement store, you may have noticed internet connected thermostats, lights and door locks. At this years CES, you will see a variety of new and interesting additions to the family of connected things. For example, if you are attending the show, you will see toothbrushes that track your brushing activity, tennis rackets that record stroke and swing dynamics, as well as GPS enabled dog collars.
The “Internet of Things” is truly upon us. What interesting ideas do you have?
